Graduation FAQ's
Q: Where & When is the 2024 WHS Senior Graduation?
A: Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 7:00 pm
Moody Center 2001 Robert Dedman Dr, Austin, TX 78712
Q: What time do the doors open at the Moody Center:
A: Doors are expected to open at 6:00 pm. Ceremony begins at 7:00 pm
Q: Do I need Tickets to the Moody Center? Am I limited as to the number of Guests I may bring?
A: No tickets are needed! There is no limit to the number of guests for each graduate.
Q: What time should the Senior Graduate arrive?
A: All Graduates should arrive by 6:20 pm.
Graduates should enter through the LOADING DOCK Entrance doors.
Families and Guests will enter through the NORMAL Entrance doors.
(Graduates should ride with their families to the Moody Center.)
Q: Where is Graduation Practice? Is Practice Mandatory?
A: Yes, Graduation Practice is MANDATORY! We will do a Graduation Practice in the PAC the week of Graduation. We will send out date and time once it is confirmed.
Q: When can Seniors pick up their Cap & Gown?
A: Cap & Gown orders will be available for pick-up in early May.
We will confirm the date once we get closer to the delivery date.
Q: Can we decorate our Cap and/or Gown?
A: We request that Seniors do NOT decorate their caps as we strive for a uniform look among the Graduates.
The only accessories or additions allowed to the standard Cap & Gown are the school-issued Honor Cords.
Q: Will there be a Photographer / Videographer at the Ceremony?
A: YES! PhotoTexas is the Official Photographer for the Graduation Ceremony.
They will send out Photo proofs in the weeks following the Ceremony.
Angel Productions will be videoing and selling the Ceremony Video.

Q: Are Graduates REQUIRED to ride the bus back to WHS from the Moody Center?
A: Any Graduate ATTENDING Project Graduation (aka PG) is REQUIRED to ride the bus to WHS.
Students NOT attending Project Graduation will leave the Moody Center with their Family and/or Guests.
